Hello from Central Arizona

Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles offers a "30 day general use permit". You can apply at any DMV office. I recommend calling ahead to the office you will use, to confirm that they understand what you are asking for, and to confirm that ETI has given you all of the data on the specifics of your trailer before you apply for the permit. We did that in 2019, and it worked smoothly. Things may have changed, but forewarned is forearmed.
We did contact them and because our trailer was imported AND had never been titled, they would not issue a permit. But, as you suggested, give them a call, things could be different in 2025.

My knee replacement surgery was 3 days ago. The first two days were mighty miserable. Today things are much better. Started PT today.
The first week is the hardest. You will be walking into PT without much, if any assistance in two weeks. I used a pair of hiking poles the first few weeks, and I always walked more than the doc said to do.

One word of encouragement for driving home from your upcoming trailer delivery - I had to help our son pack and move from his apartment in Florida to Oregon about 4 months after my knee replacement and he lived on the 3rd floor with no elevator. While I had to pace myself, I did hundreds of stairs that week. I was impressed first by being able to do it, and further impressed at how much it helped me.

So as others have said, it really helps to push it in PT the first month, and I used the cold circulating machine (I forget the name of it) to keep my knee "iced" as much as possible. As I recall you only have 6 weeks to gain your range of motion and after that you are kinda stuck. So during the first month of my recovery I always did more than what was required in PT. What else have you got to do anyway? :)

Total right knee replacement done on May 14. First three days were miserable for sure. I am now slowly on the mend and for those that know, my flexion is 102 degrees and my extension is 2 degrees from zero. Swelling is slowly going down. I am receiving PT at home and also using the Continuous Motion machine to some extent.

I have a buyer for my Casita SD who will be coming by on Friday to finalize the deal. That money will be banked by me in anticipation of paying for the Escape 23 that I have on order.

I still can’t decide if I want to upgrade from the standard kitchen sink to the ridiculously expensive deeper and wider sink, assuming that they might let me do that.

I am sticking with the standard two lithium batteries and the two 200 watt rooftop solar panels but I did add the optional exterior solar port on my order. My understanding is that I can plug in a solar suitcase (that does not have its own controller) and it will be recognized by the OEM system and work fine.

That motion machine is the cat's a$$, had one knee with it and one without. Use it as long and as much as you can. I have the standard sink and will be replacing it in time, it is showing some rust spots, not a good grade stainless.
