Hello from Washington state in the USA

Hello everyone,

I've been looking at trailers for a couple of months now, and have my heart set on an Escape (or something very similar) if I can find it.

I live in the USA. If I find a used one in Canada, does anyone know what it will take to get it into the USA and registered in Washington state?

Thanks in advance for any insight anyone might have.

It is a fairly simple process to import an Escape to the States, here is a recent thread describing it

I did it two years ago- pretty easy.

We pick up our 21 in late September. We just got our VIN and ETI's perfect paperwork allowed us to get registration and title in Kittitas county, Washington in about 1/2 hour. ( It took a bit longer because I had to retrieve our checkbook.) We now have a real plate ready to go. The clerk made one phone call to Olympia and we were done!

If you're wanting to view any of the Escapes before you actually purchase one, you can come on by and see our 21 that resides in Seatac - not too far from ya. We're just off 5 by Southcenter.
