We currently own a 19ft Scamp Fifth Wheel and have had a Casita 17ft Spirit Deluxe in the past. We are seriously considering ordering a 5.0TA soon. The last three winters we have camped in our trailer for 3-4 months at a stretch and really like the idea the extra storage and the room the Escape will give us. Love reading the posts in this group. Hi Bob and Peggy,
We purchased a used 5.0 TA last fall and have camped in it a few times already. We are selling our Scamp 5th wheel today. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! We already love the Escape, it is not much heavier but is much more spacious and I believe tows smoother too since it is a dual axle. The scamp held its value very well so it was not a hard sell.

We are former Scamp 5th wheel owners & we loved it, but we are really thrilled with our 5.0 TA-and one of the main reasons is the bed orientation-it's Great!
