Hot Water yet no hot water

When I hit the outside pressure release on my hot water tank, it drains hot……..yet im getting no hot water in bath or kitchen……I know it has to be a valve under the seat in the back compartment, and have played with them, but must be missing the one I need to get hot water from the heater…….winterized it last year and have not corrected from that, im sure……where is the magical valve?

Two valves, one above the other on the back of the tank. Handle indicates direction of flow. I'm pretty sure that there's a diagram in the manual.

You can see the two bypass valves in this photo. When they are turned as shown your hot water heater is not bypassed and hot water will flow. In bypass mode, which yours are likely in right now, they will be turned 90 degrees. Just turn them as shown here and you should be all set.
