Spoke to Patrick at Escape and here is how he removes the Domettic 9500E when he needs to. There is NO need to fuss with interior headliners in the cabinets. After removing the awning from the mounting bracket, you will see one or two types of bolts connect plate to camper. If the bolts have round heads, simply saw them off very close to the outside skin of the camper. Caulk and you are good. If bolts are square, that means they glued an internal threaded sleeve into the hole. All you need to do is back out bolts and caulk.. I have not done this yet as I am waiting for new awning to arrive. Thank you Patrick!
