Howdy from California!

I decided a pull behind trailer would be easier for me. One reason, the propane tanks are too heavy for me to lift and put back into their cubby. Another was I can only get to them to take out when unhitched. With a pull behind you can fill propane tanks without removing them from the trailer and while hitched.

Another reason, I am short. Inside the 5.0 I couldn’t reach the ceiling lights, fan and ac without getting on a step stool. All of mine were manual. In the 21 I can reach all these controls without getting on a step stool.

I will say towing is easier with the 5.0 ta. With the pull behind I make sure my speed doesn’t go over 60-62 mph.

Both trailers are wonderful.

Thanks for your response, Sandy. We have pulled a standard trailer in the past so know a little about that, but have never owned a 5th wheel so are trying to learn about the issues unique to them. Thanks for that input, and thanks again for your offer to let us view yours, just didn't work out timing wise!

What size are the propane tanks in the 5th wheel?

Safe travels and congrats on your new rig!

I live in BVS as well with a 17B. A family on Greenwater has a 19 in the driveway and were nice when I stopped by for a look. I’ll send my phone number via message.
