Howdy from North Carolina

Keep in mind that stickies are measured from front of the body to rear of the body. Our eggs are measured from hitch to rear bumper. i suspect that if a site is limited to 20', that you could fit a 23' egg in it.

Yep, another reason I pulled the Escape 21 graphic off the front; if asked I tell 'em it is an 18 (box is 18'4"). Have never had anyone doubt it. Looks way smaller than 18' stickies.

Should have gotten that truck camper, LOL. We would just need to plan ahead and stay at a private campground near by.

Hi Bryan,

Not sure if this was in jest or not, but it jogged a neural pattern.....around the time we were putting together the build list for our 21, there was another member of this forum "Losangeles", who was also doing the same thing, and we commiserated a bit on the process, anyway, they also purchased a 21, but 3 - 4 years later, if I've read one of their posts correctly, sold it and purchased a : Hallmark RV | The Best Pop-Up Truck Camper Not sure why, but if the requirement of a pickup truck isn't a show stopper(like it was for us), it might be something to consider. I'd contact Losangeles to see what prompted their swap. Here's the post where they added some pictures : https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f8/casita-motorhome-20097-2.html Good luck in your shopping.

Interesting, most of the popup campers as well as truck campers end up buying an Escape, not vice versa.....
