What's with all of the oriental hyroglyphics on the web page? It's taking up a lot of the page. I doubt that many people from China will be buying Escape trailers, although they do own most everything else in Canada these days :).

No hyroglyphics here. Local IP issue for you?

Chris, whatever you did didn't work for me. I'm still getting the Chinese and now I'm also getting advertisements with every post :(. I don't know if it's just me or not but it's taking up a lot of space on the page(s) I'm viewing.

And Glenn, it's on the forum pages, not the ETI site.

We're getting ads, as of last night.
Thankfully, I don't see ads within the posts ( which is what I found when using FGRV app on iPhone ).
I don't see any Chinese, but a recent visitor to ETI told me he saw a trailer with a "Taiwan" note on it. He inquired and was told it was indeed headed for Taiwan. How about that?!

Hi: All... No Pyrotechnics here... Just those con founded adds!!! I used the interweb to do some appliance shopping for our kitchen at home. Bought Frigidaire but Sears still wants me to buy Kenmore. I should have searched for a cruise. At least it would have looked nicer!!! Alf
escape artist N.S. of Lake Erie;)

We are looking at the issue with the Chinese ads. This seems to be affecting IE users only and we have contacted google. The chinese ads aren't malware infact they aren't clickable but they are clearly also not intended for us ;) Stand-by...

I went to the Escape trailer industries site and clicked on the forum. Problem solved.

I get all the Chinese characters too. Going to ETI site and clicking on the forum didn't eliminate it. I don't think it is an IP problem. Looks a bit ridiculous given that this is an English web site.

That matches what I'm seeing - the ad consisting entirely of Chinese text appears in the new ad location above the Recent Discussions list in IE, but not in Chrome (on the same PC).

There's nothing Chinese (or looking like a target audience for Chinese-language advertising) about my IP address.

It doesn't bother me. I can't read it, but it's just an ad to be ignored, anyway.

No problems on my Mac - no ads, no Chinese. This sounds like just another Microsoft Internet Exploder problem.

If you are tired of being barraged by a gazillion ads that are not only annoying, but slow down how fast your webpages load, you might want to try Adblock Plus. It works wonders and it's free!!!

Maybe someone has confused CA with CH since appears only Canadians are getting the Chinese?😬

Not true. I am getting Chinese characters. Last time I checked a map Florida was not one of the Canadian provinces. But we do have a lot of Canadians who spend time here to get away from the white stuff.

To singletracker: Thanks for the tip about Adblocker Plus. I installed it and no more ads! Sure makes surfing much more enjoyable now.

Also, no more Chineese either :)

Sometimes if you right click anywhere on the webpage and then select ENCODING from the list in the window and then select Western European Windows it goes away. Worked for me on some sites out not others, like this one....
