I've been watching this forum for over 10 years and finally decided to join even though I don't own an Escape trailer. This forum has the most helpful members of all the other forums I've watched, and several recent discussions have been about topics which I have some experience. My hobby of the last 30 years is collecting and showing vintage trucks. Twenty years ago I bought a used 1975 8' Beaver to stay in while participating in distant shows. When that broke, I replaced it with a 2010 13' Livin Lite all aluminum trailer. Upon retirement I wanted something bigger, so I purchased a 2020 ATC toy hauler set up for boondocking: all aluminum, solar, lithium batteries, compressor refrigerator, built in generator, etc. I like it as much as Escape owners like their trailers. And, some of you are nearby neighbors (hi Donna!). I hope to be a positive contributor to this forum.

This is true. Very helpful, indeed. One of the reasons we’re buying an Escape. Welcome to the forum, and cheers.

Craig,

When it finally came down to actually buying my trailer, I chose the Escape 5.0 which I currently own. The other trailer which made it to the shortlist was a2019 ATC 8.5X20. The big advantage of the ATC was that i could bring my Road King with me wherever I travelled, it was all aluminum and durable. Alas, they're nearly impossible to come by here in Canada and very expensive. I chose the fifth wheel Escape because it is supposed to be very durable as well and great to tow. Unfortunately my Harley stays at home now when i travel,,,,c'est la vie!!
