Hi Folks,
I have had to replace the unit with a .7 cu. ft. RCA model that vents to it's left side as you are facing the unit. That left side of the cabinet gets quite hot and I am considering installing a vent, something like a replacement heating vent (about 4" x 10") in that wall just to the right of the door in the 17 B. I'll have to avoid cutting into the vent stack for the fridge in there but are there other utilities in that space I need to worry about? Is this a good idea?
