I'll be adding an indoor/outdoor thermometer to my 19' Escape and would like your thoughts of where to place and attach the remote outdoor sensor. Thus far I have ruled out double face tape and drilling into the fiberglass shell. Since the sensor should be out of direct sunlight I'm thinking of putting the sensor on the inside the tongue framework under the propane tanks or storage box -- any ideas for a better location? One idea that is intriguing is to mount the sensor to a small piece of metal and then either bolt the metal plate to the Escape or use a good quality magnet. This would allow for battery change. Again, I open for any better ideas for attaching the remote sensor. Thanks and see you all at Osoyoos!
