I hardly use the inverter in my trailer. When I plugged in my camera charger it blew the fuse for everything in the trailer. Any suggestions?

Did it blow the inverter-battery >200A fuse? Did the outlet AC breaker trip? Did the fuse blow as soon as you plugged in the charger?

Thanks for your reply. As soon as the camera battery was plugged in the main breaker for the trailer blew. No lights, no anything. Unplugged the camera battery charger, crawled under the table, reset the maim breaker and everything came back on.

To verify the situation...........

Was no shore power hooked up?

Inverter = 12 volt DC from batts to 120 volt AC.

Do you have a transfer switch for the inverter run outlets or do you plug into the inverter for 120v directly?
