Thanks, but that was not information that I was looking for.Just so you know the Victron 1200 inverter is advertised in volt/amps. It's actually a 1,000 watt inverter.
We installed a 1500 watt inverter in our 5.0 and were happy with it.
We have a 2,000 watt inverter in our Bigfoot. We now run a 1,700 watt induction plate with no issues.
Victron does make a 2,400 watt inverter (3,000 VA), but at a cost. Progressive Dynamics makes a 2,000 inverter/transfer switch, that we installed, for around $650. It's a very easy install and has great reviews.
Food for thought,
Perry
I did correct your posting that the Victron 1200VA inverter is a 1,200 watt inverter, when in fact it's a 1,000 watt inverter. Thanks, but that was not information that I was looking for.
Just another data point. The 1500 GoPower Inverter that came with our 5.0 will run a Keurig as well as a drip coffee maker. I initially thought I would have to replace the 1500 with a 2000 but decided it wasn't necessary.I installed a 2000W Renogy inverter in my 21.....This inverter runs a coffee maker (a few minutes to make a pot, then its shut off), my wife's hair dryer, and occasionally a small 120VAC Oreck vacuum cleaner
There's a huge depth of knowledge on this forum but without a person asking specific questions they're unlikely to get the exact answer they're looking for. Thanks, but that was not information that I was looking for.
