Is raised dinette floor in E19 now standard?

We are very interested in getting an E19 but have one big issue. My husband is very low vision (I’m the only driver) and he complains about the lack of vision out the windows from the dinette area. We currently have a 17’ Casita and the view from the side dinette is wonderful- it’s hard to give up. But for several reasons we wish to move on to a E19.
I have seen where some owners have used various means to raise the floor in the dinette area or raised the cushions. Recently, I saw that a 2018 model had listed on their build sheet that ETI had raised the dinette floor 3”. This is the only used trailer I have found that lists this on their build sheet.
My question: Has ETI now included a raised dinette platform on all new E19 trailers, or is this still an option? If it became standard, in what year? As we continue to look for just the right E19 camper, this information would be very helpful.
PS- due to our carport size which was built for our Casita, we are limited to a 19’. A 21’ is too long and a 5.0 too tall.

The ETI website, or a phone call to ETI would clarify if it is standard. We optioned for it in 2021, and we like it in our E19. It’s been an option for several years.

What a great question @Vicki IN ! Last weekend, we toured a 19' F1 nearby us via the ambassador program. The owner did not have the raised flooring. As I sat at the dinette, I didn't even think to peer out the windows (it was garaged). But, neither of us is very tall (and, we seem to be shrinking every year ) - so, that would be a nice option. @brroberts thinking further about the cabinet/shelving placement - is there ever a time where you bonk your head, or shoulder getting in/out of the seating space? Are there any other drawbacks that you've experienced with your raised floor? TIA :flowers:

My wife, who sits on the PS of the dinette has indeed bonked her head a few times on the end corner of the upper cabinet getting out of the dinette. I don’t sit on that side often, but have not done that. She’s a great teacher, and in fact, had accolades throughout her career in education.

Agree it would be best to contact ETI directly. I know was optional at least up to the 2023 model year.

I configured my E19 without the raised dinette, as I specifically wanted the floor area to remain at a consistent height. I'm 6'2" with a very long torso....so no issues looking out when seated.

I noticed that the floor is raised in the storage area under the bed on the F1 layout (I assume to provide additional clearance for the fresh water tank). That probably means that the rear dinette in the F2 layout is only available with a raised floor .

My view is that by far, the easiest way of dealing with this is to raise the level of the wood that the cushions rest on. I hated the "down in the hole" feeling of my 19 and I'm 5'-11". I was reluctant to raise the floor because I don't like differences in floor levels. I live with it in my 21.

I customized the benches. My wife is shorter so I made hers a little higher, about 3". Not enough that her feet couldn't rest on the floor.

Very simple inexpensive mod to do. Add a frame work of wood, I used Pine or you could use Oak for the front piece. I added thin Oak on the front and front edge. Requires almost no tools and is completely removable if desired.

Thank you everyone! It’s nice to know there are solutions out there. Either a raised floor or the raised benches. I like both. Appreciate the help!

I have a new 17B F1 and the floor is raised, but I did not request it, it just came that way. I did not realize that it was once an option.

There's a difference between a raised floor up front, opttional and the raised floor at the rear by necessity.

The rear does indeed provide more "headroom" for the water tank and the frame also steps up.
