I'm about to take delivery of a Jeep Gladiator EcoDiesel. I see folks pulling their 5.0's with the Colorado Duramax Diesel, is anyone towing their 5.0 with a Jeep Gladiator? Diesel or Non-diesel.

The Gladiator bed is 1.2" shorter than a Chevy Colorado bed. Can one inch make that much difference? I'm unfamiliar with fifth wheels and how much bed length you need.

I think you could make the bed length work, you don't need to be able to go to 90 degrees. The problem might be hitch installation I doubt there is a B&W turnover ball for this vehicle. You could probably install bed rails but it would be a universal kit. The other potential issue would be your cargo capacity, it may not be enough.

Yeah, the payload is my biggest concern. I only have about 1200 lbs to work with.

There’s people on here pulling 5.0s with less payload capacity and diesel’s. The RAM eco diesel truck is a pretty low capacity payload also. Coil springs are nice riding but generally have less capacity.

I love pulling our 5.0 with a small turbo diesel, there’s plenty of power and long distances between fuel stops.

If I were you I’d start researching bed rails for the hitch for a gladiator…. If you get stymied, maybe Trademasters in Chiliwack can help.
