Hello everyone! Our 21C just arrived yesterday evening, and the delivery guy was great-- he even stopped to give it a wash before bringing it to us, so it looked all nice and shiny. The company was Saskatoon Hotshot Delivery, I think? It was a very smooth process once it started, with a group text that told us where they were, and even pictures as they drove down from Chilliwack.
Unloading was pretty smooth, except apparently the tongue jack bolts were a little too loose, but the delivery person tightened them up and was able to disconnect his gear after that. Our previous trailer was an Aliner Ranger 12, so the Escape definitely felt much bigger and more, I don't know, substantial, when towing (for about 5 minutes from the delivery spot we chose to our house). We're using a 2016 Lexus GX460 as our tow vehicle. Not perfect maybe, but very comfortable!
Once we got her home, it took us a little while to find the electrical cutout, but once we did, the lights came on and everything looked pretty cool. It was a big night-- we've been planning and researching for over four years, and then from deposit to delivery I think it was just about two years (we did delay our build a few months.) We celebrated with some Prosecco!
We also got the E2 Fastway hitch, but still need to install that. I think it will help a fair amount with the towing feel. Our first real trip will be Memorial Day weekend, headed to Red Rock Canyon outside Las Vegas. Can't wait to take her out!
