As you can see, the EZ-Reach wall bracket is of similar size, but with different mounting holes. All that is needed is to drill new holes in the bracket under the bench.

Looking forward to the follow-up. I have a 5.0 coming mid Dec without any table or post installed. So I'll be installing a Lagun table. Yet to buy one, so your post may help with that decision.

I removed the brackets under the bench and drilled new holes. The EZ-Reach wall bracket uses #8 hardware (not included).

Donny A any update on how the EZ-Reach has performed for you? Looking at buying a 2025 21 NE and would like this type of mount if it is sturdy enough. Also what is the length of the arm you used 12 or 16? Thank you.

Hi, unfortunately I can't tell you how it performs, I installed it just before winterizing the trailer for the winter. However, it is far more robust than the Lagun mount. I bought the 16" arm.

Hi Donny,
I can't answer for the EZ-Reach as I us only the Lagun table system and I am happy with it.
As long as you don't have a huge table it's great. I made myself a smaller table than the original table that came with my Escape 21ne. Lagun was having a sale this past week and I bought another standard system.
I'm toying around with a few ideas, will see how it shakes out and if I go with it, I'll post here.

Cheers to ya........ and Happy Trails..........Jack

I have the Lagun table and have always found the sliding tongue and groove slide mount to have quite a bit of play that has been difficult to tighten down enough with the plastic handle connector. On our last trip I tightened it a little too tight and the plastic handle connector now no longer functions. Their website points this issue out. I think that's why they "sell" a new one fro $29!

I now have a new bolt and cap nut that I tighten with a cheap racheting wrench. It's now solid as a rock and the table is much more stable.

Could you have just added extra holes in the Lagun mounting plate?

What I am seeing is that the mount is attached to thin plywood. The new mount is great, probably a lot stronger, but I would have added a section of 3/8 or 1/2 inch plywood on the back side of the dinette base, running from top to bottom, bonded to the original plywood with construction adhesive. Would make it much stiffer.

Donny, curious about the floor under the table. Did you add access doors? If so, how and what do you store in there? Thank you!

Regarding the floor, see my post 21NE Dinette Floor.

Regarding the brackets under the dinette bench, they are original Escape Trailer Industries brackets that they install to support the Lagun table mount.
