Unfortunately for them but fortunately for someone else, an opening has occurred in the Escape production calendar, December 4th, previously reserved for an Escape 21 to the east coast is now available. Delivery to the Indiana is contemplated with points east to Pennsylvania. Those with delivery dates in January or February here on the east side of the Mississippi can change their schedule and get their trailer earlier before weather can cause delivery delays. In addition there are 2 other trailers already on the truck so adding a third delivery can cut your costs to almost 50% off an individual delivery.

I have a completion date of June 23 for my 19. I have been contemplating delivery rather then driving 2600 miles from GA to BC, but not happy about spending 2 grand for delivery. How far out from completion should I start checking for other d's to the East coast? Anyone out there who might want to share a the ride to reduce cost?

PAB4- I have a hatch date of 25 June on the 5TA.
I may have to also do delivery, as it looks like my schedule will not allow me the time to drive over 2000 miles.

The two of you should definitely hook up on delivery. contact Escape and they can give you the savings.

If you can get a third, then the savings really add up. The delivery can be anywhere along the route and if the third person is within a days drive you guys can meet and camp that weekend. That is what the couple from NC did, they drove up to York,Pa and we camped that weekend together in our new Escapes.
