The opening bathroom window was leaking during the last 2 days worth of rain, shows up as coming from around the bottom of the frame, no water in the track.

Has anyone R&Red a framed window? Looking for how to remove one and what they are sealed with, thanks.

Bob: Not sure if this helps or not, but when I added the bath window it only had a flimsy rubber seal that went against the outer fiberglass shell. We also added Proflex all around for good measure.

If you remove the screws from the inside trim ring the window will basically fall out once you break the seal of any caulk that might have been used.

If it were me I'd use butyl tape around and seal the top with profile, that was the standard for Escape for the older style windows, maybe your bath was not butyl taped? Try that first and reinstall.

Now that you mention it Jim I think I removed the flimsy seal and did butyl all around the perimeter of the window when I did my install.
