Length 5.0 plus truck

I have a Chevy Silverado 6’ bed extended cab.
When connected to my 5.0 with an Anderson rail hitch.
36’-2”.

The wheel base of the Chevy is 143.5” / 144”

That 145" is the same wheelbase as an F150 SuperCab (extended cab) with 6.5' box or a SuperCrew (full 4-door) with 5.5'box.

Any of those will have an overall length of ~36'-6"+/- with a 5.0, varying a few inches perhaps with different hitches.

My F150 rig, described in my signature block, measures 36'-8" with a very slight bumper extension - close enough.

About 38' with a 6.5' box. Under the 40' mark that a lot of ferries use as the first level of towing limit.

Probably should mention that's with your custom rear cargo-box which extends well-beyond the rear bumper, correct?

My cargo box is only a few inches beyond what the spare tire is. My brother with a Ford Ranger and a 19 is about a foot longer than me.

can't be as bad as my E21 with my old F250 longbed, that was a combined 43-44 feet :-O It also had a 62 foot turning circle, which made backing into tight campsites really challenging.
