While recently in the Peace Corps in Mexico, I spent some of my spare time dreaming about the next chapter of my life. I retired from university teaching and Peace Corps was my first retirement adventure. I decided I wanted my next adventure to involve visiting a lot of National Parks and other beautiful locations, maybe even stopping for awhile to volunteer. So some sort of RV made sense and I finally decided on the Escape 19'. I paid my deposit (2 months ago) and have a hatch date of early April 2016.

Before the Peace Corps I lived in Southern California, currently I am staying with my sister in North Carolina, but my official residence is now in Florida where I grew up. I am so thankful to all of you who have so generously shared information on this forum. You are helping me to make better informed decision about how to configure my Escape. I am looking forward to many adventures in my Escape and to meeting many of you during my travels.

Hi Barbara,

Congratulations on ordering your new Escape!

Peace Corps has been on my bucket list for years. Hope to meet up with you on the road one of these days and hear about your adventures!

Congratulations on a well informed decision that will give you pleasure for many years. Quality of trailer = Quality of life and you will enjoy all your travels in a trailer that will serve you well.

Thanks for the welcomes. I am looking forward to traveling around and meeting all of you at rallies and elsewhere. Adventures await but I must wait until next year when my Escape will be hatched.
