Livin the Dream

Ok, I think I know where you're headed - a scotch drinkers scotch. For the money, the Laphroaigs are hard to beat.

You know it! :)

While Islay offerings are among my favourite, I do like lots of Highland offerings too. Speyside as well. Variety is key for me, thus the multiple bottles in my stash. ;)

Uh oh! Caught red handed, pounding in the bung on my own cask of Bruichladdich!;) (I wish):)

You wish..... I wish too, then maybe I could tap into it a wee bit. ;)

The Bruichladdich Laddie Classic is the only one I have tried, and it was a friends bottle. Very nice though.

Being a certified peat freak, I picked up a bottle of Bruichladdich Octomore, Edition 01.1, 131ppm phenol content. Quite a mouthful! Keeping with the peat monsters, I also bought an Ardbeg Supernova, in excess of 100ppm... ahhh peat!!!:thumb:

Oh man, I am having to wipe the drool off my keyboard.

I have never tried either of those offerings, but I do have a bottle of Uigeadail, and generally keep one on hand. A great value for a classy whiskey.

I see it doesn't take much to change directions of a conversation to the truly important things. Here's to livin life:cheers:

New member from Wisconsin. My wife Ellen and I ordered a 19 a few days ago with completion on March 22. Your forum has been a great help though I've only lurked a few weeks. My haul vehicle will be the 3.6 liter Chevy Colorado Z71. The tow package is a 7000# setup but not sure whether additional hitch considerations will be in order. Looking forward to our eventual trip to BC.

You might have a few questions. Lots of people here to answer them. Or not.:). No telling what you will get but beverages are likely to come into it. I'll take root beer myself.
