Looking into getting an Escape 5.0

We have had a slide in truck camper since 1992.
Currently we have a 2005 9'6" adventurer camper on a 2006 chevy 3500 SRW DMax and pull a 12' trailer with my toys.
I would like to downsize as my wife thinks our rig is too large.
I have watched the YouTube videos on the build process of these units and they look good. I see a few members are using the smaller DMax to pull the Escape 5th wheel.
What type of fuel economy do you get?

My dilemma is how do I bring both my motorcycles along? VStrom 650 and DT200

Basic life choices, guns vs butter, riding vs camping....you choose,,,

Might be able to get the rear of the trailer setup to handle the DT200, but forget the Vstrom unless you can put 500 lbs on the front of the truck.
