Mark as read

Been away for five days ( camping. of all things ).
Expected to come back to hundreds of posts and I think there were, but I clicked on "new posts" and waited and waited. Then I went to "recent discussions" and the posts were all in bold face. Read one and the rest were no longer in bold, so I don't know what's read and what not.
Back to "new posts" and there was only one.

Not that I need a fix for this. Just means I have one more job done ( reading posts )

That happens to me also, it goes away....

In my experience, if you leave yourself logged in all of the time, you'll get this effect... but if you log out after each session of actually reading posts, the unread indications will work properly. Any session which times out (which happens routinely if you don't explicitly log out) will cause posts which you have not actually read to be labelled as if they are read.

It only happens from time to time.
