Hi All

I have been over @ FGRV for a couple of years and we have a wonderful Surfside.

We have been shopping for an Escape for a while with no success but i think the right deal may have finally found us.

Hopefully this trailer checks out as good as it sounds and we wil be the proud second owners of a 17B

Alan

Welcome Alan. Good to see another local join the Escape fraternity. :) By the way, there is another St. Albert resident on this forum who also has an Escape (Dave MacRae), maybe one of your neighbors? :)

Boy of boy, more of that Northern Alberta riffraff joining and buying Escapes. Whatever is happening? Must be some kind of conspiracy. ;D

Welcome to the site, Alan.

Hope this works out good for your guys. Unless abused, any used Escape is still in great shape.

Hi Alan, nice to see you over here! Great group, just like FiberglassRV.

Hope everything works out well for you!

deal is done

Well we have not seen her but my bother in law and nephew say she nice so they bought her for us.

Hope to have her home here soon

She is a late 2006 17B

i know there are a few Escapes here in St Albert. ( there is a 15 just a few streets over)

thank you all for the welcome

Is that a mud flap underneath the front of the trailer I see in the picture? Now you can change your avatar info.

This will drive you nuts, waiting for fair weather.

Where's the battery? Mine is on rear ( bumper ) in 2008.

I dont know where things are yet. She is still 5 hours north of me! I am waitng for a break in the weather to go and bring her home. Maybe for valentines day....

Wow got a great surpize today

Brother in law brought our trailer home to us today instead of next week

woo hoo

So answers to the questions are:

Yes that is a rock guard on the front and it also has snap on padded rock gaurds on the lower front of the trailer.

The Battery is on the drivers side back bumper.

This trailer is awesome so far

Well now you have to try out the furnace. Turn on the propane, light up the furnace, grab a glass of port wine and just sit and wonder.

Get out your journal. Write down first impressions. You'll never feel those exact same feelings again. You'll make more great memories, but those first ones are so very special.

Pictures? Did you say you were going to post pictures? ;D

Here is the first picture

i really like the journal idea i will start it today

Off to test the heater......
