I want to replace the valve stems on my stock 2021 steel wheels from ETI. Does anyone anyone know for sure if I need .453 or .625 size stems?

0.453, been there, done that, it's the same for both the steel and alloy wheels

Good to know! I wonder, are the .625 stems just for heavy duty trucks and trailers?

I asked for Metal Stems when I got new tires last year. The kid installed high pressure stems which are part metal and part rubber. I caught the mistake and the Goodyear dealer fixed the mistake immediately and all was well. Just thought I’d report this experience so that the admonition could be delivered pre Installation. The kid meant well but was Lacking some training. The reason I got metal was to prevent deflection of the stem while traveling when I have the TPMS valve stem “tire caps” installed. I have seen rims get scratched when only rubber stems were used.

Had the stock valve stems & TPMS sensors and they do flex too much. Tried metal then found I prefer the stiff rubber ones.
