To those of you who opted for the "full length" mirror on the exterior of your bathroom door on your 17B or other model - can you please post some pictures? I know it's a small detail. Just trying to make my new home comfy and the best it can be for me.

Hi: Carol R... Sorry it's not a 17B and I installed the mirror my self with "No more nails" tape. The mirror was a dept. store buy with a wood grain look metal frame...Works for me!!! Alf

We opted to install one afterwards, though after 4 summers still haven't. I was thinking on the inside of the bath door though, and only a short one.

That is where & what I installed in mine. I used 3M Tape...

Jon,

Is that a glass mirror, or something like aluminum or plexi-glass. Also, is there a particular type of 3M tape that you used?

Thanks.

Leon

It is an inexpensive very thin, lightweight glass mirror. The tape used to mount it is 3M Multipurpose Mounting Tape 4016, although there are many other varieties of mounting tape that would work. 3M must make over 100 different mounting tapes. I added the mirror last year - after about 20,000 miles it is still there!

Double sided foam tape, 3M or other, does dry up and fail after a while. I suggest a couple dabs of clear silicon adhesive in the corners (just as an insurance).
