I started to work on my plan on getting heat into the bathroom, it was close to 60 today so I spent some time in Prairie Schooner. I plan on installing a side vent from the furnace direct into the bath area. I removed the optional drawer under the closet/over the furnace and realized Escape finished off the bottom/top of the furnace with some paneling. Should have requested that it be screwed vs nailed. Then I went to remove the grill and realized it rotates, 180 degrees. I studied the area and turned on the furnace with the grill turned towards the front of the trailer, cracked the door maybe 6 inches and viola, heat was entering the bath area. I'm also thinking of drilling a couple of 1" vent hols along the "L" of the bath door next to the heater but want to check with Reace first if that is a structural joint and would the holes weaken it. That way the door could remain closed.
But in the interim, those with the new style furnace may look into the grill rotation and cracking the door for heat into the bath area.
