Montana rivers

On our recent trip across the great state of Montana, I observed that we crossed several bodies of water, several times. Can anyone guess what they are and the number of times....?

Yellowstone maybe three times, then Gallatin, Madison, Missouri. That's if you stayed on I90.

Update I thought the interstate passed north of the Three Forks. Added one that doesn't and left one off that does. I'm gittin old. Kayaked the Yellowstone and the Missouri and one of my dogs was born under a cottonwood tree beside the Gallatin.

On our trip to and from the Osoyoos rally a couple of years ago, we ended up crossing the Columbia River 6 times: Portland, Kennewick, Kettle Falls, Grand Coulee, Pasco, Umatilla.
(Edit: plus two: S then N on US-97 when camping at Maryhill.)

Fishing the Yellowstone by boat/raft from Gardiner, MT to Buford, ND is on the bucket list.

Our route was I94/I90 through Montana and we crossed Yellowstone 6 times, from the East, but towards the mid state and Idaho State line we crossed Clark Fork more than a dozen times all within Montana. Both of these rivers were full from the recent rains and looked very angry....

I am getting old. I've only driven over the Clark Fork a dozen times. A friend had an outfitting operation in part of the Bob Marshall and I packed in with him a couple of times to set up his main camp. The main camp overlooked the North Fork of the Blackfoot which flows into the Clark Fork. Also the views of the Clark Fork are more impressive in my opinion than of the other rivers.

I've done about 70 miles of that from Pray in the Paradise Valley north of Gardiner to Reed Point. Another one you might put on your list is the Upper Missouri Wild and Scenic Rivers. Put in at Fort Benton and end up just west of the Fort Peck Lake. The river guides at Fort Benton for a fee will move your vehicle to the take point about 140 miles down stream. That one is in my bucket list. I've done the Great Falls to Fort Benton.
