More Escapes coming to Texas

Our day is coming soon! Pam and I depart tomorrow for Chilliwack, (by way of Breckenridge, Colorado). We pick up our 5.0 "Texas Edition" on September 23. It has been a long time coming... but the time has flown past.
Pictures will be forthcoming! ;D

Congratulations & safe travels on your journey to & from Chilliwack.
I'm sure it'll be a great & fun inaugural trip.

Hey Jackie,

Ask Dave where the switch is for the slide out. We still haven't been able to locate it. Other than that, it's a pretty cool trailer.

T-7 days...
Marv, my brother was just asking the same question... "Where's the slide-out?"
He just does not get it! ::)

I've mentioned this before...but when we pulled into an RV park in Colorado Springs, I filled out the slip and marked "fifth wheel" on the registration. The guy asked me, "Do you have any slide outs?" To which I answered, "Well, that's a pretty personal question, but yes ... 2 ... I slide out first, then my wife!" : - )
You're right, they just "don't get it"

Jackie & Pam -

Your new 5er looks great... although the "Texas Edition" should have come with a different color of trim & spare tire cover. Shouldn't the "Texas Edition" trim color be burnt orange & the spare tire cover have a picture of Bevo and say "Hook 'em Horns"? ;D

Congratulations & welcome back to Texas.

We keep telling folks that the natural colors of Texas are Maroon and White! Burnt Orange is just not Natural!

Actually Maroon and Orange are just making the Blue Ridge Mtns shine at this time of the year. One sign in Blacksburg reads, "If God wasn't a Hokie, why are all the leaves Maroon and Orange?"
A few years ago, my son and I went to College Station to see Tech play A&M...I forgot they were maroon too, and wore my maroon sweat shirt...made it easier to get out of the stadium after we won however : - )
Your 5.0 is gorgeous!
