With the purchase of our new Bigfoot travel trailer. I end up needing a better power trailer dolly. I previously owned Power Caster PC-1 power dolly which only had one wheel on it. It was just to unstable to be used with larger and more heavier tongue weight. So that started my summer project of either modifying my PC-1 power dolly or purchase a new larger capacity power dolly mover. So being cheap I end up modifying PC-1 power dolly mover. Only parts used over from the PC-1 was the motor and the side pieces. So here are some of the before, during and after pictures. I have to say that after the completion and testing of my new power mover I couldn't be happier. The total cost for the modification was around $350.dollars

Like I had to read the next sentence to see what your decision would be. :)

Nicely done. I like the extra stability your design gives.

Summer Project

Thanks Ron it was a fun project. Here are a couple of pictures of the mounting bracket that connects the power dolly to the travel trailer. Basically to male end sits in to the open cup on top of the power dolly. The trailer jack is retracted into the male end of the bracket.
