Need 42 Inch Shower Hose for 2017 17B

I need a replacement shower hose for our 17B. Its original and length is 42 inches, not 50 , not 60, not 72 inches. My wife, does not want the longer hoses. Anyone know where I can find the OEM 42 inch hose ? I have no luck getting anyone on the phone at Escape, so have given that route up. Thanks.

Last month I replaced my OEM hose with a longer, flexible metal hose that I like better (extra length doesn't bother me). I measure it at 41". It is from a 2012 so it's not at all new, but if you want it I can put it in a box and mail it for $10. That said, I think my metal hose is the bee's knees and worth the extra money, so you might prefer to buy one like what splicer posted.

I like the metal hose as well. But......the wife does not like the idea of the metal rubbing against the white shower walls ! What can I say.....happy wife...happy life... sometimes ! Let me ponder the used one. Thanks for the reply.

I know what you mean about happy wife happy life. I'll just add that I've towed about 600 miles with a 60" metal hose installed, and I can't see any marks on the walls from it (not that my observations are likely to sway any wife, they certainly don't sway mine ).

I'm kinda onboard with your wife. It would seem to me a flexible metal shower hose would be like a cheese grater across those nice, shiny walls while going down the road. I'll stick with the boa constricter style hose that came with our Oxgenics shower head.

Cheese grater? Why? There's nothing rough about the metal hose's finish, the surface is very smooth... like a ball bearing.

When metal meets plastic, metal wins every time... at least that's how I see it. I could be wrong, though.
