Nevada - just ordered

Hi everyone. We just ordered a new 21" unit to be picked up in December. We are new to the fiberglass trailer world (having upgraded from a pop-up). We are very excited.... Tom W

I think you are the first from Nevada, there aren't any on the map. I thought I might be the first when I move there next year (Las Vegas). I am moving there next July, haven't ordered an Escape yet because I don't have room to park it at my current home in California, and am debating on whether to wait and see what the new 5.0 is like. We are scheduled for Dec 21 or 23 I believe. I don't recall what number.

I can imagine the 21 being popular, as we made the journey up to CA to see the 19 but we felt a huge difference with the small gain in space in the 21.

There is one Escape in Reno I believe, and a couple in AZ.

We love living in LV. So many things to do in the area (non casino activities). Of course one must appreciate the desert and its beauty. There are many meet-ups with Astronomy clubs in various campgrounds we look forward to, in addition to being rather central to the entirety of western USA and CA.

I too love the greater LV area, I spent the better part of three years working down there, hence my decision to purchase a home there in 2011. And, I agree with your point on being centrally located in the south west and CA. We are looking forward to retirement and living in Nevada!

You are certainly welcome to check out our unit after we take delivery in December...that is, if you have not purchased your own by then.

Did you have an opportunity to view the 21 and 5 yet?

Have you ever visited the Quartzsite, AZ RV Show? Its supposed to be quite amazing.

The Quartzsite RV show is around the middle of Jan. Most of the rv parks are full but everyone else camps on the BLM on the outskirts of town. In the beginning of Feb. there is a FG RV get together at Quartzsite. Check out the details on the FGRV forum.

Wow, thank you for the information. We will certainly show up for at least the FG portion in February. I am still working so the spouse may have to stay alone during the week.

Hi Tom,

No, I have not ordered yet, I most likely will order early next year. I am not moving to LV until July next year so will not have a place to park it until then. I have been in a 21 and a 19, unfortunately have not been in a 5.0 yet. I am retiring at the end of the year and plan to connect with a 5.0 owner with hopes of seeing one inside. Also, it would be nice to see yours once you get it, thanks for the offer.

I am going to try and make it to the Quartzsite, AZ RV Show next year, although we'll have to stay in a hotel...
