The stove ignitor on my new E19 was not working (Dometic D21 – 2 burner). The stove lit and burned fine with a “match” however. I submitted a support request to ETI but have not heard from them. So I contacted Dometic in the meantime and exchanged several emails with them. Finally, Dometic told me to take the trailer to an authorized repair center for warranty work. I had no issue diagnosing the problem but if a part was bad Dometic won’t sell nor did I find any on Amazon. I am attaching three pictures of the repair I did. There was 12V power to the block on the stove from the TT side. However, when I slid a mirror under the block so I could see it, the screw holding the wire internal to the stove was gone and no lead attached - and therefore there was no power to the ignitor. Providentially, I found the screw in the compartment behind the microwave. (below the stove). So I was able to put the screw back and reattach the lead. I checked the other screw on the internal lead and it was loose also so I tightened it as well. A gromet insulator had fallen out too but was also behind the microwave. I put that back as well.
I put the stove back together and back into its spot. And lo and behold the ignitor works. Again I didn’t find a video or any forum posts on the D21 so I am adding this that it might help someone.
Photo 1- stove out and turned over. I did remove the shield to more easily access the wiring block.
Photo 2 - mirror slid under wire block with missing wire screw missing.
Photo 3 - Stove back in and the wires back on the block.
