New Escape 21C Owner

Hello to everyone, I have been a lurker on the site for a year or so doing research and getting a feel for the Escape trailer community. We had been planning on ordering a new Escape this winter, but after quite an amazing set of coincidences, my wife Liza and I just purchased a used 2022 Escape 21C, so it seemed time to officially introduce ourselves. We had a 25' traditional travel trailer 15+ years ago when our kids were younger, but are now empty nesters with our sights on retirement in the not too distant future and looking forward to taking some extended excursions around the US & Canada in the years ahead.

I'm sure we'll have a number of questions as we "relearn" the RV Lifestyle... But from what I can tell, both ETI and the Escape Trailer community appear to be very patient and helpful. Looking forward to getting to know you all better through the forum and potentially a rally in the future!

Welcome to the forum.

The 21C is a great trailer and ours has taken us far and wide and it's as close to perfect for our needs as a trailer can be.

If you're a DIY'er there's tons of mods possible to make to even more customized to your needs. If you're wondering about doing something or other just post it. Chances are someone may have have done it already and can supply some advice.

Welcome! You will certainly find a lot of Escape enthusiasts here, and a wonderful support community as you have probably observed over the past year. There are a lot of "fiberglass" events throughout the year around the country, and if you can find one to attend you will likely see several Escape trailers there. Most are announced here and they are great opportunities to meet other owners in person and see what creative mods they have made to their units.
