New Escape Website!

I wonder if the missing dropdowns are a problem on some of the older versions of IE or any of the other browsers?
I had not noticed the problem, because I use Chrome (on Windows and Android). I just tried it in IE 8.0 (on Windows 7), and all of the text items above the photo row (including the ETI logo and all menus and drop-downs) are missing.

On my Android tablet, the site:
  • is good in Chrome, Firefox, and Opera Mobile; and
  • has the ETI logo but not the menu in Opera Mini and the default Browser.

As I recall, Safari previously had some settings to make it claim to be another browser, allowing sites which consider the browser and are wrong for Safari to work. Perhaps this still exists?

I have to note that while you all were talking about the new site, I kept getting the old one. This happened several times and then somehow I was on the new one. I was getting to it through the Escape ad on the right of this screen.

gbaglo, it was probably your cache that was allowing you to see the old site. I reboot my computer at least daily and dump the cache. If I don't do that, my PC gets slooooooow because of all the stuff I view on the WWW.

Ok. On my iPad, the upper drop down menu is there. On my iPhone I have the 3 bars upper left to click, and the items show up in a list. On my Macbookair, no menu at the top and I'm running Safari. I'm also using OS 10.6, Snow Leopard, so that might have something to do with it.

Lion. Mountain lion. Maverick. Wow I'm getting behind...

Just tried Firefox on my MacBook Air. It looks fine, pull down items at the top of the screen. I guess it is just Safari on a Mac that has the issue.

I tried to get along with Safari on my MacBook Air, but I just don't get it at all. Nothing intuitive. This afternoon, I had to quit just find my way out.

Wow, I checked it using IE 8 at work, really, really looks bad. Everything is completely out of order, no navigation at the top (and that's not the worst). Good web design means you test against the major browsers....

Can run Firefox or IE 11 on our home computer (Dell PC) and the Escape site looks fine on both.

I just tried the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and IE and the site looks the same on all of them, which is very good.

I had a new hard drive installed a couple years ago on this computer, and this was the first time opening IE on it. It does not see much use it seems. :D Chrome is my go to.
