New Member constraints

Hi,
I've been a member here for a while and have sent a few private messages, but few (or no) posts. I just sent a message to a member, but got a response from the forum that I'm not yet a "trusted member" and my message didn't go thru. What am I doing wrong? How do I become a trusted member?

You just need a few more posts. You are caught in a two designed to stop spammers.

You can send PMs. What you can't do is put any links in the PM. Like an email address. You also can't post links in a post in a thread until you are a Trusted Member. That happens with your 11th post. And yes, this is one method to prevent spamming. Sorry you got caught up in it, but there's nothing we can do.

Marv, As others have said, just post a few more random thoughts to this thread, and once your post count reaches "10" (based on Donna D.s response), you should be good to go. So start posting....
