New Member to the forum wanting to buy a 21' Escape

Returning to Florida two years ago after picking up our Escape 21'. Pictures taken in Yellowstone on June 18.
Your picture reminds me of my trip to Yellowstone in early june, probably 1994. I was working in Northern Greenland and was from Northern Minnesota. snow didnt bother me but i never expected to see snow when i went Yellowstone. The tetons had much more snow

I am just starting my build sheet and would like some advice.

I am just starting my build sheet and would like some advice. As far as all the add ons, what items do you find to be the most valuable and useful and which things can most people do without or add on later? We are not very good handymen by the way so most things we would have someone else do for us.

What about add ons not mentioned like a receiver on the back to add a bike carrier, do they do that?

Do many of you use a generator and how do you carry those? Is it possible to carry it in that big add on box in the front?

I had an outside shower on our Casita and we rarely use it. Thinking we could do without it. Guess we could have used it for washing dishes when we cooked over a fire though.
My husband is trying to talk me out of the oven... but I think I want it.
For those who have the u shaped booth, do you like it?

Are there extra outlets or lights you find particularly useful?

When is the best time to pay for the Escape?

So many questions, it is embarassing.

Progress! Last Friday walked into my first Escape, a 21' at the Bluebonnet Casita Rally. Monday morning ordered our Escape, Wed started working on writing my casita add and all Thursday posting a bunch of photos. Today, Friday morning reading my email, I have a buyer. Now just a year and 2 days until my Escape is done. One year and 2 days with no camping.

No sense wasting time, eh?

I would have held on to the Casita until next spring, myself.

Several coincidences...we were also at The Bluebonnet Rally (SO fun!), we are from Texas (San Antonio area), we have a Casita Freedom. Our 21' is scheduled for February 27. We actually placed our order April 1 after seeing a 21' last year. But it was fun to tour the Escapes at the rally.

Congrats on ordering your Escape.

Since you got time to burn, you might as well get started on making the quilts to coordinate with your Escape's decor.
Then yours will truly be a custom trailer! :eggrv:

Very nice Quilt!

Very cute pattern. I have a pre-cut laser kit with 8 different egg shaped trailers and scenes that I sell, and I have started working on. I had just finished decorating my 2015 Casita inside and out with 2 quilts, valances, br curtain and wall deco in the br.... took it to the Bluebonnet Rally a week ago, was so proud of it, until I saw an Escape. Now, I am starting from scratch again. I am letting one quilt go with the Casita.
