Hi Everyone, We will be ordering a new Escape 21C soon. I use to tow a Airstream Carvel 22FB with my 2023 Tesla Model X Long Range. (We fell in love with fiberglass travel trailers.) I get about 120-130 miles of range and do not usually travel faster than 55 mph. I usually don’t travel more then 300-400 miles in a day. Try to stick to the 3-3-3 rule. Any advice will be appreciated. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum. The 21C is a great trailer, all Escapes are, but the 21C is best.

You'll find just about every question that you may have has been answered in multiple threads but if you can't find the information you're looking for just ask. You might find that some of the answers vary from each other.

There are a huge amount of mods that can be done. The crate drawer under the bed is probably the most useful but there are many others.

I don't see how the 3-3-3 rule works for a trailer.

333 rules works for us..I{m retired.. no rush to get anywhere… travel the country at our leisure… no need to get back to work…wife still working ..owns a online bookkeeping service. Thank you Ron for your feedback…safe travels

Don't travel more than 300 miles in a day. Arrive at your destination by 3pm. Stay at least 3 nights/days.

Makes sense to me.

Hi Tervino, welcome!

Do you have to unhitch at super chargers? Looks like you'd need to charge two or three times a day - that seems like quite the drag. (I've been driving EVs since 2014, but not to for towing. There's been threads about F150 Lightning as a tow vehicle - and generally not positive.)

It depends on the supercharger station…some have drive up for EV’s towing. If I have to unhitch… short time unhitching…charge.. 20 to 45 minutes… go make breakfast or lunch back at my trailer, take a nap..easy driving, never fatigue. Took at 3,000 mile trip thru the Midwest, very comfortable drive… cheers
