I'm not sure what opening a can of Cambell's Chunky Beef soup has to do with the topic unless, of course, one wanted to heat it up with the solar oven. Why not just open a can of Campbell's Chunky Beef soup
Glenn's allusion to it's shape I assume - tongue planted firmly in cheek.I'm not sure what opening a can of Cambell's Chunky Beef soup has to do with the topic unless, of course, one wanted to heat it up with the solar oven.
Living in Moab, that thing is guaranteed to work. I remember frying eggs on sandstone at Dead Horse Point some years ago.Well, I just assumed he was talking about eating it cold, since I've done that before when I was too lazy to warm it up. You could wrap it up in foil and leave it on your car windshield in the sun and get the same effect as warming it on the stove, but it would take a lot longer.
Actually, I bought the sun thing because I like new techie stuff, and it was lots cheaper than a new computer or camera.![]()
Yeah, I don't see how it can replace a grill for things like burgers and steaks Bruce. Wrong shape. If it can replace the heavy bbq for steaks and burgers it would be a winner. Need more info via youtube.
