New tires

The catch is that either choice requires going to a 215/75 R15 from the stock 205/75 R15. Does anyone think this will be a problem?
No, I don't see a problem. They do need to fit in the wheel wells, but as I recall the original 5.0 had larger tires than the ST205/75R15 used on other models (due to its greater weight), and they fit fine.

Appreciate that; know I'm probably paranoid about Chinese tires- heck even iphones are made there. Somehow the ghost of Wo Fat still haunts me I guess.

To help all of us keep track of our tire age, all tires are stamped with a four digit code showing manufacture week. For example, my Carlisle original tires on our 21 which we picked up in November has 2214, which shows manufacture in the 22nd week of 2014.

We have 19,000 miles on our 21 heading to the Mississipi rally. I feel confident that the tires will safely make it home, but will check carefully and rotate them again when I get home.

Correct and mine show DOT 2215 which is around June 1st/2015. The originals were dated 1213 or March 2013 and BlackJack was born November 2013.
