Just sold our 2015 motor home and are down sizing. I like the escape trailers and
will be watching the progress on the 23ft trailer for it will be the one we would like
go to and pull it with a 2023 GMC Canyon that is if the weight does not get out of
the weight envelope of the truck.

I think Karl said he had enough interest to sell out the E23 for 3 years.

You will probably want a full size truck for the E23. If your going to be west of Denver, definitely Full Size. Safety First.

Welcome to the forum! As has already been said, you should consider a full sized truck to tow a 23. We don't actually have the final numbers for the 23 yet, but we do know they'll be substantially higher than the 21. Based on that, even if you manage to get the numbers under the published maximums, a Canyon is going to have a tough time towing a 23.

Just for some anecdotal perspective, my F150 is capable of towing a trailer twice as heavy as my 19. Some say it's "overkill" to tow a 19 with a full size truck but after 6 plus years with this combo, I'd never consider going smaller.

Thanks guys. After RVing with everything out there the two trucks (GM Canyon and Ford Ranger) will do the job nicely being that the E23 will come in around 55to 5800 lb. I have always traveled normal road speeds even in the mountains with exception of motor homes(gas& diesel) due to weight. I am not that interested in the full size trucks if the weight stays under 6000lb.
