I plugged the trailer in to shore power today, and discovered that no power was flowing into the trailer. I have been getting connected successfully in this fashion for years now (through two trailers) and for the past year with this trailer. My handy multi-meter shows me that the cord plugging into the trailer is "hot," but the cable coming out of the trailer side of the plug is not. So I presume the issue is the plug. Is my logic sound?

I know many of you have replaced the plug... is it a fairly simple process to open it up and check connections? I presume I'd do that from the outside? Thanks!

Do you have an EMS in your trailer ? this would have a little display panel with a single on/off switch, like this... normally when on shore power, this cycles between showing 117 V / xx A / E xx ... the E is an error code, anything other than E 0 and it will leave power shut off. E 2 is a bad ground, which is pretty common.

Yep. The EMS monitor was totally off. My local mobile RV guy was available, and stopped by. It was a total bear getting the plug off (the location behind the batteries required a contortionist to hold the nuts while one of us on the outside unscrewed). Once it was freed up, we saw that one of the wires was totally out. Screw loose. Replaced, tightened, and all good again. Thanks for jumping on to help. Appreciate it.
