Bill and Erline you hit the nail on the head. My husband burst out laughing when he read "never heard the end of it". I am so looking forward to stepping up to the luxury of a heated interior and a flushable toilet . . . but parting with our old Bluebird is just not going down well !!!

The flushable toilet in a warm trailer, when its inclement weather outside is heaven.....!! Imagine not having to find the campsite toilets in the dark and rain!

My husband went right out to the van and checked the manual again. All the specs are actually written in both units i.e. 220lbs / 100kg
. . . back to vehicle shopping

My compliments to you two for researching further and getting the good advice from this site to sort out - now you have a really big decision to make!! But, obviously enough time to make a good one before March.
