After meeting Leon and Lindy at Gilbert Ray campground in Tucson, AZ, and who were gracious enough to take time to show us their Escape 21', we were hooked. After much discussion about budget, the Canadian dollar, etc., we ordered the 21' to be ready Jan 2016. We have traveled from Port Townsend, Wa to the SW the last four years in our Casita 17' SD, "Pepe-Le-Pugh", and it has served us well. But we needed more storage and a quality trailer, and the Escape 21' really fit the bill.

We are former sailors who lived aboard our 40' Valiant, and sailed for five years, and we Are happy to have 'no anchor watches' while we traveled!

We look forward to meeting everyone at the 2015 rally!

Good for you two! Welcome to the club, Carla and Ned. You are certainly well located to get an Escape.

Welcome Carla and Ned,
You do not mention your tow vehicle, the 21' Escape is a little bigger than your 17' Casita

Welcome

Welcome to the Escape family Carla & Ned. Sharon and I are just around the corner from you in Sequim. You will not regret you're decision for the best little trailer made. We have thoroughly enjoyed ours and I know you will thoroughly enjoy yours. You have many happy travels ahead of you.

Welcome Carla and Ned! I didn't know the name of your Casita -- but I think it is neat. It was nice talking to you in Gilbert Ray and I hope to run in to you again.

best,

Leon

Another Casita owner converted. Congratulations! We had about half a dozen similar decisions resulting from the bluebonnet casita rally. These trailers sell themselves.

Welcome Carla Jean and Ned! It was fun to meet you camping at Salt Creek last year when we all had Casita trailers, and now we have a new Escape 19' and you have ordered your 21'. Since we live in Port Townsend, I'm sure we will see each other often and we can compare "stories":)

There was a member in Florida with the 5.0 TA and the Ram w/rambox, it was a diesel also. He said that the air suspension interfered with the fifth wheel install but the ram box was fine.

I think Jim and I met the two of you at Osoyosos at rally. We were the ones with the other Casita. Congrats on your 21. We went from rally to factory thinking we would get a 19 but ended up ordering the 21. Ours has production date of Mid Feb 2016!

Congratulations! We can't wait to get ours! Just spent some time with family in Spokane and at the cabin on Mt Spokane. Would loved to have the Escape. Temp one day was 108! Thanks for thinking of us. Keep us informed as to your build sheet.

Making a deposit tomorrow on 21..so excited

After months of looking at numerous travel trailers and Class Bs, we have decided to purchase an Escape 21....goodbye tent!! Wish my Subaru Forester would pull it and we know we have to get something more substantial...thinking SUV, something really comfy that will pull 6,000 which gives us a bit of wiggle room. Ideas appreciated....
And any of you 21ers if you have experience that will help us, we love ideas. Look forward to meeting some of you next summer. Roberta and Craig in Seattle, WA

Roberta and Craig, good for you and welcome to the EscapeForum.

I can't help with your questions, I own an Escape 5.0TA. But, you are going to LOVE your build and make a ton of great memories.

Congratulations and once again, welcome.

Roberta and Craig,
Congratulations! We are in Seattle also and are anxiously awaiting to pick up our 21' on September 18th:) We will be towing with a Silverado 1500 which should be more than adequate. We'll let you know. Emilio and Christine

Congrats Roberta and Craig. If you want a really capable SUV to tow the 21, there are several to choose from. Lately I've been very impressed with the VW Touareg. More towing capacity than you need and superb gas mileage. There are other suitable choices, but the Touareg looks like a standout.

Carla Jean and Ned, We just returned from ETI in Chilliwack for a quick minor repair on our door seal. Reace was gracious beyond belief in the way he helped us out...bottom line...the Escape trailer is a quality product made by quality folks:) Time to go camping!
