Owner Feedback on Electric Awning for E21C

I think I unpinned my legs and ran them vertical exactly once and pretty much hated it. I did not find the awning is stable with the legs vertical as it is when they're kind of triangular and latched to the body. But I have the 21 classic with a curved legs and so they're kind of weird when they're on the ground straight. You definitely have to stay come down when you do that. Otherwise the awning will lift off and the slightest breeze

I have some heavy stakes for some stabilizing guy wires or ropes from the corners. They should work for the legs or maybe staking out guy ropes would do the trick.

I like the benefit of using a sunshade like Ron showed.

We chose the manual awning for all the reasons already stated , we have a21c with awning windows, no bathroom window. Only 1 window is effected by the awning and this has not been an issue yet . We often put the legs to the ground and like this set up. I did put glow in the dark stickers on the arms and legs and this has stopped all collisions at night .

Great suggestion. Now that you mention it, those legs are held on with pins, aren't they. Now I know why.

No, there's a little lever that you depress and the arm releases.

I must admit I have not looked at the awning manual. I presume putting the legs down like that is in the manual. Neither have I, so I don't know that.

I must admit, I'm not big on reading manuals. :)
