I am no longer interested in managing the Owner's Map. Currently I keep map backups (made by another web site) and make changes to the map. Brain B-P has assisted with map updates when I have been unavailable.
Options:
1) Revert to prior operation. Everyone can update the map and no one backs it up. The map interface is not intuitive, changes are instant with no undo button, and the result/consequences of an action are often not clear ahead of time. This worked for some time, but every so often the map got broken and had to be repaired.
2) New managers take over. (You must each have a Google account.) I will give you the web url to make backups and email you the backups I currently have. I will ask you to create a new thread like the current "Update Owner's Map" with an introductory post and ask the moderators to pin it. I will ask the moderators to unpin and close the current "Update Owner's Map" thread.
