Replacing the faucet in my 21 and the red & blue supply lines need to be shortened a bit. Do I need 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch fittings to splice this stuff? Local store has Shark brand.

Haven't cut the pipes yet...........

They are 1/2" lines, Charlie. Shark bites will work fine on them.

.....and spend a few bucks on the PEX cutter. It makes the job easier and you get clean cuts. And....you don't know when you might need it again.

Charlie, are you replacing the bathroom lavatory faucet? I'm having problems with mine; the lines keep coming loose. I wonder if it needs replacing altogether. I don't know much about this type of plumbing.

Nope, replacing the other sink faucet. ETI didn't use any teflon tape on my fittings; add some to yours and that should solve the problem as it creates an interference fit with the faucet stems that hang down from the knobs. Also a better seal.
