Portable Air Conditioner

Came across this today when an ad popped up while doing an internet search for something else. It's essentially a battery driven air conditioner which you can charge from a 12v adapter. Apparently delivers 1100 BTUs of cooling for about 5 hours continuous running - COOL! Might be enough to cool down a small trailer for the you boondockers on a hot day. You can even get an exhaust hose for it which would help to dump some hot air and presumably some humidity. Hmmm

Supposedly, it's square footage times 20 or 25 to get btu needs, 5.0TA is roughly 7'x19', x20=2660 btu. Uses 12.5Ah @ 12vdc, would need a couple good size panels to power it or recharge the 43Ah batteries. Would be interesting, if not expensive, to see if one could make it work.

Says it's 55-60 dB, wonder how that compares to the Penguins.
