Came across this today when an ad popped up while doing an internet search for something else. It's essentially a battery driven air conditioner which you can charge from a 12v adapter. Apparently delivers 1100 BTUs of cooling for about 5 hours continuous running - COOL! Might be enough to cool down a small trailer for the you boondockers on a hot day. You can even get an exhaust hose for it which would help to dump some hot air and presumably some humidity. Hmmm :thumb:

Supposedly, it's square footage times 20 or 25 to get btu needs, 5.0TA is roughly 7'x19', x20=2660 btu. Uses 12.5Ah @ 12vdc, would need a couple good size panels to power it or recharge the 43Ah batteries. Would be interesting, if not expensive, to see if one could make it work.

Says it's 55-60 dB, wonder how that compares to the Penguins.
