Privacy curtain provided by ETI

The curtain keeps sun out very well. Worth it alone for that but it also blocks a view of the bed.

Carla Jean, I am thinking that it is a good idea to save their curtain over the door and the one in the shower. Just put them away. We have an additional curtain over the door and a shower curtain liner that can be used as the curtain until we put another shower curtain. Then our own items can be kept, or not, when selling.

I don't think their door curtain is lined but I am not at the trailer right now. It still works well.

It can easily be removed if you don't want to use it. Personally, I like it. Without it, closing the door could require going outside to unlatch it first. Using the curtain, the door can be open, yet I can change clothes; our dogs are less likely to bolt through the screen with the curtain pulled across it; and notice it doesn't drag the floor: it allows a little ventilation. Plus, the fabric ETI uses has a nice, soft drape to it, despite being room darkening.

The curtain hides the bed when one person goes out and the other is in bed. Or if the bed is messy! It also keeps the sun out when the other person goes out. After having used it, we would not be without it. And it is nice, as Mary says, with the soft drape, but we may save it for someone else anyway so as to have our own.

Lifestyles, I guess.
We don't have an issue with the door, cause we have a 17. At home we have French doors and I'm constantly suggesting that the Old Bag put some pants on, pointing out that we are expecting a courier or neighbour to drop in.
In the trailer, we get up at the same time. Not by choice, but when I'm prodded in the back, my bladder alarms. Since I'm on the outside, I'm up and since I'm up, I have to get the coffee on.
Once I have my coffee, I'm back under the covers. Haven't had to open the door and go outside since I quit smoking five years ago.

Our door is always open with Franklin and Hershey around. The curtain allows some privacy until everyone is proper as well for those afternoon naps.

I like the room darkening provided by the curtain. The door window is opaque but it still allows light. When parked next to that annoying street light or in a Walmart, rest stop, truck stop etc. it is nice to have a way to reduce the light.

Naps

Taking an afternoon nap, now there's a capital idea. When I was a Scoutmaster about half of the adults would work with the boys after lunch while the other half took a nap, the nappers eventually revived and started to "get things around" for supper and the evening activity. Being a 32 year park and recreation professional, I had perfected sleeping on a picnic table seat even though it was only a 2 X 10. Yes, it was a sight to see. I'd wake up with signs on me that said "poke the bear" and such. Should have had on of those curtains I guess.

To block the window in the door (since I ordered clear glass), I use a thin sheet of craft foam (from Michael's) that I cut to fit. It just fits next to the glass and is held into place by the window frame. It is easy to take in and out, and I roll it up and put it between the door opening and the fridge (17:cool: and it just stays there until I need it again. Mine is white but it comes in all colors. It totally blocks all light, and I keep it there as I travel as well.;D

There are curtains for those that go on rods.
